Quantum Diet: “One’s share or portion”

IT’S THE FIRST MONDAY IN JULY AND TIME TO ROLL OUT MY QUANTUM DIET…( From Latin…”Quantum” meaning how much”…) ADHERENCE TO THIS DIET, FAITHFULLY, HAS REDUCED MY VISCERAL FAT AND EXPOSED MY RECTUS ABDOMINUS PER PICTURE BELOW:
“Quantum Diet” Defined: “The necessary or desired foods and portions to maximize metabolism for the purpose of overall and visceral fat reduction and visibility of rectus abdominus muscles”.
Key features of the Quantum Diet:
  • Large and continuous servings of vegetables, fruits, and nuts
  • Moderate servings of egg whites
  • Moderate servings of grilled or broiled fish, red meat, chicken, turkey or pork
  • Eat every 3 hours a minimum of 200 calorie granola and peanut snacks
  • Alcohol in small amounts (120 ml red wine)
  • Regular core isometric activity

Quantum Diet Typical Day:

  • 6:00 am – 12 oz coffee + half and half
  • 9:00 am – 200 caloried Reese’s Granola Bar
  • 12 pm    – Single plate salad with brocolli, red cabbage, strawberries, 4 hard boiled egg whites, shredded cheese, red beets, tomatoes. Balsamic vinegar for dressing.
  • 3:00 pm  – 200 calorie protein bar
  •                 12 oz protein shake in water
  • 6:00 pm  –  8 oz fish fillet or meat
  •                  Steamed brocolli
  •                   half apple or fruit for desert

TOTAL CALORIES SHOULD BE 1600 TO 1900.
